About Kinesiology

Reiki Treatment

Kinesiology is a gentle, body-based modality that helps the body communicate where stress or imbalance exists, so it can restore natural balance and function. Using muscle monitoring (biofeedback), your body guides the session, allowing corrections to be tailored specifically to you.

Functional kinesiology does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, but it can support the body in detecting and correcting physical, chemical, emotional, or memory/trauma-related imbalances.

Techniques Used

Some of the methods used in kinesiology include:
 

  • Acupressure stimulation (non-invasive)

  • Neurolymphatic & neurovascular activation

  • Sound therapy

  • Emotional Stress Diffusion

Think about posture:

  • When confident and happy, we stand taller, shoulders back, head high

  • When stressed, defeated, or fearful, posture slumps, shoulders elevate and neck and shoulder muscles become rigid, tight and sore

About me

Hi, I'm Cat

 

Originally from Scotland, my family moved here when I was 5. I have to say that the blue skies and sandy beaches have my heart and I feel so lucky and grateful to call Perth my home!

​

My journey into kinesiology began after experiencing chronic fatigue syndrome in my early thirties. That period of burnout became a turning point, leading me to explore how physical, emotional and biochemical stress interact within the body.

​

Kinesiology supported my own recovery by helping to restore balance to my nervous system, regulate my adrenals, and rebuild my energy and clarity.

 

Experiencing these changes firsthand inspired me to formally train in the modality and support others through similar challenges.

​

I have completed both a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Kinesiology (O'Neill Kinesiology) and bring both lived experience and professional training to my practice.

​

Today, I support clients in restoring balance so they can feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to their body again.

​

I intentionally keep my practice small and focused so each client receives thoughtful, personalised care.​
